Highly Creative Minds was set up as a vehicle for design projects across a broad field independent of typical commercial constraints that can so often restrain creativity. With such limitations lifted Highly Creative Minds potential range is as limitless as the field of design is broad.
Its founder, Hilary Clayton-Mitchell, is an Architect and interior designer running the interior design department of an international architectural practice. Born in Scotland Hilary now lives in London where she came to study at Central St. Martin's School of Art and later at the Royal College of Art where she gained her MA.
Highly Creative Minds' first venture is in the field of publishing with the release of Lets Try This @ Home. Prepared in conjunction with fellow Architect Ian Clarke and graphic designer Luke Donaghey, it is a richly illustrated journal addressing twelve different themes based around events that have happened in the author's life.
Looking to the future, Highly Creative Minds will seek other avenues of design to move into: be it in publishing once again, in architecture, graphics, product design, or elsewhere, but as with Lets Try This @ Home, the underscoring principle will always be the achievement of the highest quality in design.
